How do I order a breast pump?
To order, you can do any one of the following:
- Order online for the quickest, easiest way to get your pump.
- Fax or email us your completed order form.
- Call us at 1 (844) 993 3740.
- Text your completed order form to: 484-376-5943.
Storkpump will take care of the rest! We’ll call or email you to discuss your order and gather any additional information we may need. If you’ve selected an upgraded pump, we’ll collect your payment information at that time. Once your order is confirmed, we’ll ship your pump right away unless your insurance plan specifies otherwise (see How early in my pregnancy can I receive a pump?).
Do I need a prescription from my doctor to purchase a breast pump?
You need a prescription only if you are using your insurance benefits to purchase a breast pump.
Which insurances do you accept?
We accept nearly all insurances. To find out if we accept your insurance, call us at 1 (844) 993 3740 or email us at email@example.com. Or, simply place an order and we’ll call you if we detect any issue with coverage.
Are breast pump bundles covered by my insurance?
Breast pump travel bags are not covered by most insurance providers. You are able to upgrade to either the Spectra S1 or Medela Pump in Style Advanced or can add the Motif backpack to any of our 100% covered breast pumps for $50.
Can I still qualify for an insurance-covered breast pump if I’ve already bought one?
Yes, as long as you have not already sought reimbursement from your insurance provider and your insurance covers breast pumps.
I’m not sure which breast pump is right for me. How do I decide?
To help you decide on a breast pump, think about which features are most important to you. For example, if you will be transporting your breast pump frequently, you may want to give special consideration to its size and weight. Our Pump Comparison Chart allows you to easily compare the features of the pumps we offer.

What’s the difference between an open system and a closed system?
A closed-system breast pump contains a barrier between the milk collection kit and the pump’s motor. This barrier decreases the likelihood that expressed milk will become contaminated with mold, bacteria, and environmental allergens.
A breast pump with an open system does not have a barrier and requires extra care to reduce the chances of contamination.
Although a closed system is more hygienic, we still advise you to clean and sanitize your breast pump according to the manufacturer’s instructions and CDC Guidelines
Please Note: All of our breast pumps—including those with closed systems—are meant to be used by only one person and should never be shared because of safety concerns. Refer to the section Used Breast Pumps on this page for more information.
How early in my pregnancy can I receive a breast pump?
Most likely, you will be able to receive your breast pump in your third trimester.
Some insurance plans require we wait to ship your pump until closer to your due date or after the birth of your baby. When we contact you to confirm your order, we will let you know when you can expect your pump.
If you aren’t using your insurance benefits, you can purchase a breast pump at any time.
How long will it take for my breast pump to ship?
Once we confirm your order, we’ll ship your breast pump right away unless your insurance plan specifies otherwise (see How early in my pregnancy can I receive a pump?). Storkpump offers free shipping on all pumps! Delivery times will vary based on your location. Expedited shipping is available for a fee; please contact us for details.
I’m having issues with my breast pump. What should I do?
Please refer to your breast pump’s instruction manual for troubleshooting guidelines. If you continue to experience a problem, call us at 1 (844) 993 3740.
Can I return my breast pump?
Opened breast pumps are non-returnable outside of the manufacturer’s warranty. If you are experiencing a problem with your breast pump, please call us at 1 (844) 993 3740.
Where can I get extra supplies for my breast pump?
You can purchase extra supplies directly from your breast pump’s manufacturer. We are working on expanding our product line, so please come back in a few months to see our new offerings!
